Rough walkthrough
|
|
|
|
Part 1: Dream
|
|
You want to get the sword, so you can become a knight.
|
|
+ Take the shovel
|
|
+ Talk to godfather
|
|
+ Tell him to "look out!" which will distract him.
|
|
+ Use the shovel on the glass, taking the sword
|
|
|
|
|
|
Part 2: Becoming a knight
|
|
+ Try to pull the sword. You must become worthy in strength, courage, and might. Most of things are interchangeable in order. The player is likely to make small bits of progress on all three at once.

+ Use wool with stick
|

+ Use ladder with tree

+ Use cat toy with cat
|

+ You are worthy in courage

+ Go inside the castle.
|
|
+ Talk to Brian about his trophy. Accept his offer to help with riddles.

+ Go east.
|

+ Talk to peddler, ask about any item

|
+ Use carrot on sheep
|
|
+ click on sheep to get wool
|
|
+ Go inside Gandarf's house
|
|
+ You'll need to convince him to like you, by saying the right thing
|
|
1. "But I'm your friend, Gandarf!"
|
|
2. "Maybe the time I freed your pet dragon?"
|
|
3. "I'm on an important quest!"
|
|
4. "To become a knight of the town of Remington."
|
|
5. "By pulling the Sword of Blergh from its stone!"
|
|
6. "I want to impress Georgia McGorgeous."
|
|
7. "Yes" or "No" both work.
|
|
+ Take the flask
|
|
+ go inside castle
|
|
+ Give wool to Brian
|
|
+ Go inside antique shop
|
|
+ Talk to shopkeeper.
|
|
+ Ask about the the teddy bear
|
|
+ Pick up portrait
|
|
+ Use portrait with window, "Herb." is written on it. [this puzzle will be expanded slightly, requiring you to open the curtains, and clean off grime]
|
|
+ Ask about teddy bear again. Say her son told you that you could have it.
|
|
+ Tell her "Herb."
|
|
+ Get teddy
|
|
+ Eat 3 mints from the bowl on the counter
|
|
+ Go to peddler
|
|
+ Give teddy to peddler
|
|
+ Go back to castle
|
|
+ Give balloon to Brian
|
|
+ Go behind Gandarf's house
|
|
+ Click on the crack on the side of Gandarf's house
|
|
+ Click on the crack again to spy on Gandarf.
|
|
+ You now know the code to the safe.
|
|
+ Enter Gandarf's house.
|
|
+ Tell him that someone ate all of the mints
|
|
+ Take the frog legs.
|
|
+ Click on the safe. Use the code you learned (4 2 1 5 3)
|
|
+ Get recipe and mandrake root
|
|
+ Go back to castle
|
|
+ Give Brian frog legs.
|
|
+ You are now worthy in wisdom.
|
|
|
|

|
|
+ Go back to outside Gandarf's house
|
|
+ Use flask on sheep to get milk
|
|
+ Go behind Gandarf's house
|
|
+ Get mushrooms
|
|
+ Put mushrooms in flask
|
|
+ Go back to cat tree
|
|
+ Get high protein grass
|
|
+ Go back to outside castle
|
|
+ Give grass to bull (get slobber)
|
|
+ Use slobber with flask
|
|
+ Use mandrake root with flask
|
|
+ Go into the cafeteria
|
|
+ Talk to knights, challenge in arm wrestling match.
|
|
+ You are now worthy in might.
|
|
|
|
== fight with blergh ==
|
|
+ Pull the Sword of Blergh from its stone.
|
|
+ After the sequence, use the sword on Bloodclot.
|
|
+ You are now in jail.
|
|
|
|
Part 3: Escape from jail.
|
|
This sequence is a a single room puzzle. You are expected to fail several times, and it's entertaining to see what happens. I'd recommend trying this one out before using the walkthrough.
|
|
|
|
+ Talk to warden.
|
|
+ Click on warden. He's fast asleep.
|
|
+ Click on him again. Get the key from his hand.
|
|
+ Use key on cell door.
|
|
+ Click on chest. Get belongings + rope.
|
|
+ Get ball-n-chain
|
|
+ Walk around the slightly different colored board (it's creaky)
|
|
+ Get the crowbar
|
|
+ Go back to the cell window, and use the crowbar on it
|
|
+ Drop the ball-n-chain out the window
|
|
+ Walk around the board, and you're free!
|
|
|
|
Part 4: The Slinger's shot
|
|
+ Go back to Gandarf's house.
|
|
+ Talk to Gandarf. Tell him what's happened. He'll give you the Slinger's Shot, and a flask.
|
|
+ Go back into town. Get robbed by Frankie Rockfist.
|
|
+ Go to fountain, outside jail.
|
|
+ Fill flask
|
|
+ Get spear
|
|
+ click on knight, get rotten sandwich
|
|
+ Go back to Gandarf's house. Gandarf has been kidnapped.
|
|
+ Get note.
|
|
+ Burn strength potion recipe in fire.
|
|
+ Put ashes into the flask.
|
|
+ Go north, to cat tree.
|
|
+ Talk to owl. He wants his monacle.
|
|
+ Go back to the bull.
|
|
+ Use the rotten sandwich with the flies.
|
|
+ Put the flies in the flask.
|
|
+ Go inside castle.
|
|
+ Use spear with shining thing
|
|
+ Go back to owl.
|
|
+ Give monacle to owl.
|
|
+ Use feather with flask.
|
|
+ Go south.
|
|
+ Use flask with cauldron.
|
|
+ Go west.
|
|
+ Get note.
|
|
+ Go back to Frankie, at castle gate.
|
|
+ Wait for Bubba to have the coin in the air. Then talk to him to make him drop it.
|
|
+ Get coin.
|
|
+ Go back to cat tree.
|
|
+ Click on the rock (get camera, walkie talkies, and clock)
|
|
+ Go back to jail
|
|
+ Chop clock with axe
|
|
+ Go back to cauldron
|
|
+ Add clock
|
|
+ Add coin
|
|
+ Go back to Frankie
|
|
+ Use the walkie talkies with the window.
|
|
+ Go inside castle.
|
|
+ Keep listening till he says the location of the stash [this will be replaced with you impersonating bubba, asking for a reminder]
|
|
+ Go outside jail
|
|
+ Use rope with candle
|
|
+ Click on the end of the rope
|
|
+ Use crowbar with chest.
|
|
+ Use Slinger's shot with cauldron
|
|
|
|
Part 5: Defeating Bloodclot
|
|
+ Use the Slinger's Shot on bloodclot
|
|
+ When he picks you up, tell him you've got something in your pocket
|
|
+ Give the strength potion to bloodclot.
|
|
|
|
The End. [ending sequence is not finished]
