<p>Look for a red/white cable <b>RUNG</b> and collect the <b>METAL ROD</b>. You may read the <b>NOTICE</b> on the emergency fire exit <b>DOOR</b> to the right. Since, you don&#8217;t have a key, use the <b>METAL ROD</b> to pop it open. Once you&#8217;re outside, keep a mental note on the big S <b>SIGN</b> on the right. Head back in and exit to the room on the lower right downstairs.</p>
<p>You will notice an <b>ELEVATOR</b> and a <b>TRANSPORTER</b>. Explore the <b>JUNK</b> on the floor by clicking over a few of them to reveal a <b>ROBOT SHELL</b>. Use the <b>CIRCUIT BOARD</b> in your inventory with the <b>ROBOT SHELL</b> to activate <i>Joey</i>&#8216;s AI functions.</p>
<p>Exit to the next room on the right to meet a <b>MAN</b> named <i>Hobbins</i>. Talk to him particularly about the <b>TRANSPORTER</b>. Notice a <b>CUPBOARD</b> below? Good. Unfortunately, you wont be able to open it with <i>Hobbins</i> around.</p>
<p>Re-enter the junk room to converse with <i>Joey</i> and keep bugging him about starting the <b>TRANSPORTER</b>. Then stand on the striped <b>ELEVATOR</b>, making <i>Hobbins</i> leave his workshop. This gives you an opportunity to sneak over and open his <b>CUPBOARD</b>. Pick up the <b>WRENCH</b> and the <b>SANDWICH</b> (if you&#8217;re hungry) before he returns.</p>
<p>Return to the junk room and watch the <b>TRANSPORTER</b> droid loading barrels onto the striped <b>ELEVATOR</b>. Stand on the side of the elevator where there&#8217;s a long pole. Once a barrel is deployed, the <b>ELEVATOR</b> descends and opens up a <b>HOLE</b> in the floor. Click it to slide down along the pole. <i>Joey</i> follows you down.</p>

<p>Head back to the area with the <b>BROKEN COGS</b> and attempt to enter the storeroom with <b>SENSORS</b>. Get <i>Joey</i> to enter the storeroom and wait for him to return. Convince him to disable the fuse box in the stores.</p>
<p>You now have access to the storeroom undetected by the sensors. Lift the <b>GANGWAY</b>, and collect the <b>PUTTY</b> underneath it. You may also pick up the <b>WD-40</b> and <b>KEY</b>. Exit the storeroom and get searched by <i>Potts</i>, who then confiscates the <b>WD-40</b>, <b>KEY</b>, <b>SANDWICH</b> and the <b>DARK GLASSES</b>.</p>
<p>Exit the <u>Pipe Factory</u>. Inspect the red <b>CABLE</b> just before the <u>Crash Site</u> exit and get <i>Joey</i> to cut it with his welder. The cable drops to the middle level.</p>

<p>Now lets go to the <u>Power Plant</u>. Have a conversation with the old bloke and mess around with the objects in the room if you&#8217;d like. Notice two <b>BUTTONS</b> below a steam pipe near the entrance and unlock them using the <b>WRENCH</b>. Get <i>Joey</i> to press the right button while you press left button simultaneously. This will overload the steam valve and make the old bloke leave. Turn off the main <b>SWITCH</b> above the <b>CONTROL PANEL</b> and pick up the <b>LIGHT BULB</b>. Place the <b>PUTTY</b> on the <b>LIGHT SOCKET</b> and turn the main <b>SWITCH</b> back on. This results in a short circuit, opening the left <b>CONTROL PANEL</b>. Turn the main <b>SWITCH</b> back off.</p>
<p>Notice two <b>SWITCH</b>es (levers) within the left <b>CONTROL PANEL</b>? Get the left <b>SWITCH</b> levered up and the right <b>SWITCH</b> levered down. Turn the main power <b>SWITCH</b> back on.</p>
<p>Return to the <u>Main Elevator</u> and access it with your <b>ID CARD</b> and descend to the mid level. Make sure to wait for <i>Joey</i> or else he gets left behind.</p>

<p>There&#8217;s a gentleman named <i>Gallagher</i> sitting outside in the garden. No harm having a chat with him.</p>
<p>Head to the <u>Plaza</u> and enter the travel agency (TravelCo). Talk to <i>Trevor</i> and book the Economy Tour. Pass the <b>MAGAZINE</b> you collected earlier to <i>Trevor</i>. Now you may grab the <b>TICKET</b> from the desk. Give the <b>GLOBE</b> a spin, for fun.</p>
<p>So, now you need to pass this <b>TICKET</b> to the supervisor (<i>Gilbert Lamb</i>) and he&#8217;ll give you a tour of the factory. He should be roaming somewhere between the upper and middle levels. His apartment is right beside <i>Reich</i>&#8216;s and occasionally enter/exits his room. Try finding him!</p>

Pick up the <b>VIDEO CASSETTE</b> (it&#8217;s playable on the VCR), use the <b>FOOD DISPENSER</b> and feed <i>Gilbert</i>&#8216;s cat. You&#8217;ll collect the <b>VIDEO CASSETTE</b> before heading out.</p>
<p>Next go to <u>Burke&#8217;s Bio Surgery</u> and use the virtual assistant projector. Get <i>Joey</i> to do the talking with the virtual assistant too. Enter <i>Burke</i>&#8216;s office and talk to him about selling your kidneys, lung and testicles. You&#8217;ll eventually get a Schriebmann Port. Lastly, ask the doctor about getting to the ground level, and he refers you to an insurance agency.</p>
<p>Head to the insurance agency (Anchor Insurance) at the <u>Plaza</u> and wait for <i>Joey</i>. Talk to a <b>MAN</b> named (<i>Willy</i> a.k.a <i>Billy Anchor</i>) at the desk, particularly about &#8220;special policies&#8221;. <i>Billy</i> then heads behind to make a phone call. Get <i>Joey</i> to use his welder on the <b>STATUE</b> and pick up the <b>ANCHOR</b>.</p>

Open the <b>CARPET BAG</b> (with the &#8216;Open&#8217; command from the inventory) and obtain the <b>MAGNIFYING GLASS</b> (Decrypt) and <b>BIRTHDAY SURPRISE</b> (Decompress). &#8216;Decompress&#8217; the &#8216;Compressed Data&#8217; in the inventory to give you &#8216;Green &amp; Red passwords&#8217;. Also, &#8216;Decrypt&#8217; the two unknown &#8216;Documents&#8217; in the inventory marked with a &#8220;<b>?</b>&#8220;. You will enter another space that has panels on the floor with those same green and red symbols. Place the &#8216;Red Password&#8217; on the tile you&#8217;re standing on. This opens a bridge for you to cross between tiles. Keep alternating between the green and red passwords on the tiles, picking the &#8216;red/green passwords&#8217; as you go. The aim is to reach the thick beam exit on the right, it&#8217;s pretty simple. You won&#8217;t need the red/green passwords anymore after this, so just leave them there.</p>
<p>Exit to the next space and pick up the <b>BUST</b> (Phoenix) and <b>BOOK</b> (?Document). &#8216;Decrypt&#8217; the third &#8216;Document&#8217; and &#8216;Disconnect&#8217; from the LINC-Space.</p>

<p>Exit left and talk to the <i>Doorman</i> at the <u>St. James Club</u> entrance. Find <i>Mrs. Piermont</i> walking around with her dog, <i>Spunky</i>. Talk to her about <i>Overmann</i> and sponsoring a membership. Before heading to her apartment, exit south of the swimming pool to the <u>Old Shack</u>. Inspect the <b>DOOR</b> to reveal a <b>LOCK</b>. Do the old slide-a-card trick with your <b>ID CARD</b> on the <b>LOCK</b>. Enter the <u>Old Shack</u> and pick up the <b>SECATEURS</b>.</p>
<p>Now exit the shack and head to the west side of the pool to visit <i>Mrs. Piermont</i>&#8216;s <u>Apartment</u>. Use the <b>BUTTON</b> by the side of the <u>Apartment</u> <b>ELEVATOR</b> to interact with <b>Mrs. Piermont</b> via intercom.</p>
<p>At the <u>Apartment</u>, talk to<i> Mrs. Piermont</i>, particularly about the sponsoring your club membership. As she heads to call the club owner, use the <b>VIDEO CASSETTE</b> on <b>VCR</b> to distract <i>Spunky</i>. This enables you to inspect the dog&#8217;s bowl, then pick up the <b>DOG BISCUITS</b>.</p>
<p>Exit the <u>Apartment</u> and return to the ground level central pool area. Talk to the <b>GUARD</b> (<i>Blunt</i>) who&#8217;s guarding the <u>Cathedral</u> entrance. Put the <b>DOG BISCUITS</b> on the <b>PLANK</b>. Wait for <i>Mrs. Piermont</i> to arrive and <i>Spunky</i> starts barking at the <b>PLANK</b>. Use the <b>ROPE</b> to lower the <b>PLANK</b>, drawing <i>Spunky</i> on it and catapulting him into the pool. This distracts Officer <i>Blunt</i> from the entrance, enabling you to enter the <u>Cathedral</u>. Inside there will be two exits, head downstairs through the exit on the left. Check the contents of all <b>LOCKERS</b>, particularly the middle one.</p>

<p>&#8216;Blind&#8217; the first <b>EYEBALL</b>. The idea is to get the <b>TUNING FORK</b> before the first <b>EYEBALL</b> reactivates in about 15-20 seconds.</p>
<p>Head to the next space and do the same with the second <b>EYEBALL</b>. This eyeball reactivates only within a few seconds, so be quick to enter the thick plasma exit beside it.</p>
<p>Exit north (before the <b>CRUSADER</b>) and then exit right. Quickly pick up the <b>TUNING FORK</b>! Before the first eye reactivates!</p>
<p>Head back to the previous space and use the &#8216;Playback&#8217; command on the <b>WELL</b> around the center.</p>
<p>&#8216;Disconnect&#8217; from the LINC-Space, return to the ground level and talk to the <i>Gardener</i> (<i>Eduardo</i>).</p>

<p>Once done, enter the <u>St. James Club</u> after having a conversation with the <i>Doorman</i>. Use the <b>JUKEBOX</b> and select the first song. The owner (<i>Colston</i>) then gets up to change the song, and giving you an opportunity to nick his <b>GLASS</b>.</p>
<p>There will be a door in the background which will require a fingerprint ID to access, and the <b>GLASS</b> has <i>Colston</i>&#8216;s fingerprints all over it.</p>
<p>Before moving on, visit <u>Burke&#8217;s Bio Surgery</u> and handover the <b>GLASS</b> to <i>Dr. Burke</i></p>
<p>Return to the <u>St. James Club</u>, use the <b>GLASS</b> with the <b>METAL PLATE</b> and enter the wine cellar. Stand on the <b>BOX</b> and use your <b>METAL BAR</b> with the <b>CRATE</b>.</p>
<p>Pick up the <b>WOODEN LID</b> and put it on the broken <b>BOX</b>. Then climb over the <b>BOX</b> and use the <b>METAL BAR</b> on the <b>GRILL</b>. Lastly, use the <b>SECATEURS</b> on the <b>GRILL</b>.</p>

Put the <b>LIGHT BULB</b> into the small <b>SOCKET</b>, that&#8217;s if you don&#8217;t want to get gobbled up by a lurking creature. Head right two more times and immediately enter the lower exit before the tunnel caves in.</p>
<p>At this point you&#8217;ll be in a whole new area within the game. Use the <b>METAL BAR</b> on the <b>PLASTER</b>, then use it again with the <b>BRICKWORK</b> deep to it. Pick up the <b>BRICK</b>.</p>
<p>Use the <b>METAL BAR</b> again on the vein <b>SWELLING</b>. Hit the <b>BAR</b> with a <b>BRICK</b> and pick up the <b>METAL BAR</b>. Once the <b>MEDICAL DROID</b> enters the room, exit right and head down through the first stairway to a lava room.</p>
<p>Access the <b>CONTROL UNIT</b> and reduce the temperature. Promptly pull the <b>GRILL</b> handle on the heat vent. There will be repercussions if you delay. Head back upstairs and look through the <b>GRILL</b> on the wall before moving on.</p>

<p>Exit through the upper right corner of the <u>Tank Room</u>. Head right again and enter the <u>Control Room</u>. Use <i>Anita&#8217;</i>s <b>LINC CARD</b> on the left <b>TERMINAL</b> and gain access to the restricted area.</p>

<p>Exit right, back to the restricted area. Use <i>Anita</i>&#8216;s <b>LINC CARD</b> and infect the <b>CONSOLE</b>. You may now pick up the <b>TONGS</b> and pick up an infected sample from the <b>AQUARIUM</b>. Promptly dip the <b>TONGS</b> in the <b>NITROGEN TANK</b>. Any delays will result in the sample becoming nonviable. You may repeat the process again in case that happens.</p>
<p>Exit right to the android activation room and open middle droid&#8217;s <b>CABINET</b>. Plug in <i>Joey</i>&#8216;s <b>CIRCUIT BOARD</b> into the <b>SLOT</b>. Run the droid&#8217;s <b>CONSOLE</b> and download all of <i>Joey</i>&#8216;s AI data and proceed with activation. The other droids will harm you, so don&#8217;t activate them.</p>
<p>Exit right and prompt <i>Ken</i> to activate the hand sensor. Activate the second sensor simultaneously with <i>Ken</i>. Then exit right twice and mount the red <b>CABLE</b> on the <b>PIPE SUPPORT</b>. Get down the ladder and use the <b>TONGS</b> within the <b>ORIFICE</b>. Keep in mind that the specimen needs to be infected with the virus. Climb the <b>CABLE</b> and enter the final room.</p>

<p>Couldn’t have beaten the game without your guide, thank you so much for it! There were only one or two times when I actually wasn’t able to figure something out, most of the times I needed the guide it turned out that I just didn’t know I could interact with a specific pixel on the screen (like the lock on the shed). </p>
<p>This was a short and fun little story with some twists I didn’t expect.</p>
